The Queen’s Guard covers the ‘Games of Thrones’ theme song. Yaaas.

We all know the opening theme from Game of Thrones is already awesome, yet the Queen’s Guard just managed to make it epic.

Listen:

The Changing the Guard or Guard Mounting is what happens when a new guard switches out with an old guard.

The Guard, which mounts at Buckingham Palace and wears those tall furry hats, is formally called The Queen’s Guard. Divided into two Detachments – the Buckingham Palace Detachment and the St. James’s Palace Detachment – the guard’s duties are provided by a battalion of the Household Division and occasionally by other infantry battalions or other units.

Either way, the guard isn’t allowed to blink and wears very shiny boots.

Check it out the next time you head to London.

The Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle goes down every day from 11:15 a.m.-12:00 noon. Dates and times are subject to change at the pleasure of Her Majesty (not actually how it works), and you can confirm the day of with this handy dandy monarchy-approved app. Because of course there’s an app for that.

Now if only if were that easy to figure out who Jon Snow’s mother is…
